Today I read the article about Flavia Virginia at Brazilianist and
like it very much (...) Flavia Virginia's voice is wonderful and she
is a pretty woman.

Fear
of Tragedy and Frustation: (...) Since the reestablishment of democratic
principles in Brazil, after the end of the military dictatorship,
the current government is the first one to promise (...) deep changes
in the legislative, judiciary, and executive powers (...) It would
indeed be a great tragedy and frustration (...) if an assassination
(of the president) were to happen, mostly now, that we are living
this unique and rare moment of hoping for real changes in our country,
and we were to lose the greatest and most courageous leader of the
elected party, whose voice has echoed the people’s protests
against the situation of 54% of the population living under the poverty
line, according to UNESCO’s statistics, March 2000.
